Death's Door
What is it with the common cold that it can floor me in minutes? I'm never ill, I've never had a serious illness or accident in my life. People everywhere are coping with all kinds of stuff, look at Pieter!
And here I am feeling like death warmed up just because of a few coughs and sneezes. What a weakling!
I'm going back to bed ....

My dad used to drink a couple of hot gin toddys and go to bed whenever he got a cold.
I'm not sure if it cured him or not but he certainly slept well.

Hot gin? What an odd thought, although I am rather partial to Mother's Ruin!
I've been sneezing so hard, my muscles are aching, I no longer have the strength to open the gin bottle - what is to become of me? hehe
